Qiu Dongyao, Ningbo’s deputy Party secretary and mayor, met with a delegation led by Shen Guojun on June 5 to discuss furthering cooperation and to witness the signing of projects of returning entrepreneurs. Shen Guojun is Executive Chairman of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs (GAZE), Founder and Chairman of Yintai Group.

On behalf of Zheng Zhajie, deputy Party secretary of Zhejiang Province and Party secretary of Ningbo, Qiu Dongyao welcomed the delegates who were on an investment study tour of Ningbo, and thanked them for having consistently supported Ningbo’s development. He said that Ningbo would continue to foster a first-rate business environment to serve and support enterprises as they develop, expand and grow stronger.

Shen Guojun said that Ningbo entrepreneurs had special bonds with Zhejiang and Ningbo, and were very confident about their hometown’s high-quality growth prospects. They would spare no effort to help their hometown should the need arise. GAZE and GANE would always adhere to the tenet of being “responsible for national rejuvenation and building up our homeland”. By better leveraging their own strengths, the two Associations would strive to promote projects and industry undertakings to help Zhejiang and Ningbo enterprises find more partnership opportunities, and actively drive high-quality socioeconomic growth in Ningbo.

 The People’s government of Jiangbei District, Ningbo entered into an agreement with Ningbo Entrepreneurs Industrial Co., Ltd. to jointly build the headquarters and base for Ningbo entrepreneurs.

The People’s government of Fenghua District, Ningbo, and China Yintai Holdings Co., Ltd. entered into an agreement to collaborate on the development and construction of the Ningbo Bay Fishing Port Economic Zone.
